Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s PECS team is recruiting a Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) for the Indianapolis, IN territory, including Fort Wayne and South Bend. The FRM educates HCPs on reimbursement processes, leads access discussions, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve patient access challenges.

The role requires up to 50% on-site engagement with HCPs, extensive knowledge of payer policies, and solid relationship-building skills across a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in healthcare or business/public administration).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Account Management and/or Reimbursement experience in a provider office setting.
• Reimbursement or relevant managed care experience (revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals).
• Ability to establish relationships, collaborate, and influence across a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and coding requirements of payer organizations.
• Collaborate with field support team members and serve as access, fulfillment, and reimbursement expert for the local team.
• Lead compliant access and fulfillment discussions with field support team members.
• Utilize data and account management skills to address access barriers proactively.
• Address critical access and affordability issues for patients with urgency and accountability.
• Partner with managed care colleagues to understand current policies and potential changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support aligned to FRM Rules of Engagement.
• Build trust-based relationships with customers in assigned accounts.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Maintain knowledge of market dynamics including coverage and coding requirements.
