Mwiah is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers on insurance, reimbursement, and coverage issues, and to help patients access specialty medications.

The role involves weekly travel to healthcare offices within a broad territory, addressing prior authorizations, coding, and appeals, and collaborating with payer and patient-assistance teams to resolve access barriers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant practice management experience preferred.
• Previous experience as Field Reimbursement Manager/Specialist preferred.
• Willing to obtain PACS certification within six months.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider office staff on insurance issues and payer policy changes within assigned territories.
• Help ensure patient access by resolving reimbursement and coverage challenges.
• Collaborate with reimbursement support services and cross-functional teams.
• Deliver interactive educational presentations at provider sites of service.
• Weekly travel to healthcare offices within the territory, including potential overnight stays.
