Job summary

Cencora in Missouri is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to serve as a subject-matter expert on reimbursement, access and coverage. You will educate healthcare providers and staff to help patients access specialty medications and navigate payer requirements, coding, and prior authorizations.

This role requires weekly travel within a designated territory and collaboration with payers, pharmacies, and manufacturers to resolve access barriers and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant practice management experience preferred.
• Experience resolving pharmacy benefit access issues.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% within territory.
• PACS certification within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Educate providers and staff on access and reimbursement topics.
• Resolve reimbursement and coverage challenges to support patient access.
• Collaborate with client-reimbursement support services.
• Travel within designated territory on a weekly basis.
