Job summary

GH Phipps Wyoming is seeking an intern to assist in field and office tasks to support project success. You will perform material takeoffs from drawings, prepare RFIs and submittals, and help maintain schedules and project records.

The role involves interpreting drawings and specs for field crews and participating in intern program trainings. An undergraduate degree pursuit in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is required, with 3 months of related industry preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• 3 months related industry preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite; familiar with PROCORE and Bluebeam; reading plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor in the field or office to support project success
• Takeoffs from drawings, specs and contract docs
• Assist in RFIs, Submittals, close out and other docs
• Assist in schedule maintenance and updates
• Maintain basic project recordkeeping including daily reports and photos
• Assist in as-built drawing documentation
• Provide field support and supervise subcontractor operations
• Interpret drawings and specs for field crews
• Participate in intern trainings and events
• Other duties as assigned
