Qualifications

• Previous experience with heavy equipment inspections, maintenance, quality control, or a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify equipment deficiencies and operational concerns.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and structural components of heavy equipment.
• Experience documenting repair and maintenance requirements.
• Valid driver’s license required; heavy equipment operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections on heavy equipment returning from customer sites.
• Conduct walk-around inspections to identify issues and deficiencies.
• Evaluate condition to determine necessary repairs before service.
• Create inspection reports and document findings for maintenance teams.
• Coordinate with shop personnel to ensure timely repairs and readiness.
• Move equipment to the maintenance shop for service as needed.
• Perform final inspections on equipment ready to return to field.
• Ensure equipment is washed, fueled, serviced, and ready for customer use.
