Shively Diversified Management Services seeks a Field Quality Technician to perform repeatable inspections of installed solar panels on an outdoor construction project. You will verify installation quality with basic measuring tools and record results electronically.

The role suits a capable, self-directed individual who can handle daily tasks with limited supervision. Previous solar installation experience is not required, and safety rules with PPE are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned daily inspections independently and consistently.

The Field Quality Technician performs repeatable visual and measured inspections of installed solar panels on an outdoor construction project. Working from established inspection criteria, the technician completes scheduled and random checks, uses basic measuring tools to verify installation quality, and records inspection results electronically.

This position is best suited for someone who is capable, confident, self-directed, and comfortable completing repeatable daily tasks with limited supervision. Inspection procedures and project-specific training will be provided. No electrical work or previous solar installation experience is required.

This is a six-month temporary position.

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and move across uneven terrain.
• Must be able to bend, reach, and position measuring tools as required.
• Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment.
