Job summary

Shively Bros., Inc. is seeking a Field Quality Technician to perform repeatable visual and measured inspections of installed solar panels on an outdoor construction project. You will inspect to established criteria, record results electronically, and report any quality concerns promptly, with training provided for procedures and safety.

The role emphasizes independence, self-direction, and the ability to complete daily inspections with limited supervision on a large outdoor site.

Qualifications

• Capable of working independently with limited supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent, accurate results.
• Comfortable using digital levels, tape measure, tablet and basic technology.
• Able to learn and apply defined inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform repeatable visual and measured inspections on solar panels using established procedures.
• Record inspection results electronically using a tablet and designated software.
• Identify results outside requirements and report them promptly.
• Maintain consistent inspection quality throughout the workday.
• Follow project safety requirements and wear PPE.
