Job summary

Velocity MSC is seeking a Quality Support Technician to join the Field Operations team. You will perform QSP visits at customer locations, clean and inspect photo lab equipment, and ensure peak performance through preventative maintenance.

This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to travel extensively (approximately 95%). You will report to the Field Operations Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
• Minimum 2 years of printer service/repair (inkjet and dye-sublimation requested).
• Minimum 2 years in field services, installation, or similar technical background.
• Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled Quality Support Program visits at customer locations.
• Complete routine cleaning of photo lab equipment, printers, kiosks, and components.
• Conduct quality inspections to verify equipment performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
• Inspect equipment for wear or damage and document findings.
• Communicate maintenance results and follow-up actions professionally.
