Job summary

J.R. & Co., Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager to execute the construction quality control program on roofing and building envelope projects, with travel to sites including military installations.

Qualifications

• Current USACE/NAVFAC CQM-C certification required.
• 3–5 years of commercial roofing, building envelope, or construction quality control experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Preferred: RMS/QCS or other federal quality reporting systems.
• Preferred: IIBEC RRO or RRC credential.

Responsibilities

• Execute three-phase control process for each Definable Feature of Work.
• Perform daily quality inspections and complete Daily Quality Control Reports.
• Verify installed work against drawings, specifications, submittals, and manufacturer details.
• Track submittals, RFIs, material certifications, and required testing.
• Serve as field quality contact for government QA reps and manufacturers.
• Maintain deficiency logs and punch lists with photo documentation.
• Communicate quality issues to superintendents and project managers for correction.
• Travel to project sites, including extended stays; support EM 385-1-1 safety.
