tms is seeking a Field Quality Manager in Chicago to execute the field quality strategy, ensuring packaging protection, performance, and functionality for consumer demands. You will spend substantial time in the field, building relationships with customers and applying packaging QA expertise.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in packaging and QA, strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 75%. This hybrid role offers opportunities to impact major brands and collaborate across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience.
• 5 years of experience in packaging.
• 5 years of food packaging or quality assurance experience.
• Broad technical background with strong communication and field QA skills.
• Domestic travel up to 75% and ability to work remotely with independence.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers and suppliers at multiple levels and manage field QA communications.
• Support packaging innovation concepts and Project Alliance initiatives.
• Travel domestically up to 75% for field activities.
• Conduct field surveys of finished product to ensure conformance to standards.
• Report survey results to central data systems using mobile devices and tech.
