Job summary

Bilfinger is seeking a Site Quality Technician to report to the Site Leader and Quality Director. You will plan, coordinate, and inspect to ensure production meets codes and standards. Certification as a Welding Inspector (CWI) or ASNT VT II is required, with knowledge of ASME BPVC, AWS D1.X, NBIC and API codes.

Travel to plant sites and construction jobsites is possible. You will support the Bilfinger Quality Manual, monitor activities, and ensure documentation and safety requirements are met

Qualifications

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or ASNT VT Level II with entry level or greater experience in Quality and inspection.
• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of related tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret codes and standards (ASME BPVC, AWS D1.X, NBIC, API).
• Ability to work in office, plant operations or construction jobsite settings.

Responsibilities

• Support the Bilfinger Quality Manual and related programs.
• Monitor all quality related activities on the project.
• Coordinate with Site Leader for quality improvements with respect to overall Quality program.
• Complete site quality control instructions and action remedial responses.
• Verify that contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and confirms contractor documentation submittals.
• Ensure that safety is adhered to at site.
• Ensure all technical documents relative to site quality control are current in status.
• Put test packages together for client.
• Provide inspection activity for in place products.
• Investigate and adjust customer issues regarding quality.
• Assist Construction as needed.
