Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. seeks a meticulous Quality Control Field Technician to perform inspections and tests to ensure installation work meets plans and standards. You will document findings and collaborate with crews to drive improvements on projects.

You will address issues, monitor compliance, and support ongoing quality initiatives while working in the field. Overtime and travel may be required in diverse weather conditions to maintain safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Quality control experience preferred.
• Assoc Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Knowledge of telecommunication construction standards.
• Knowledge of Customer Installation Standards and Documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections during installation to ensure plans and specs.
• Perform final inspections on customer requests to ensure compliance with construction standards.
• Identify issues and report them to relevant team members for resolution.
• Record non-compliance issues and follow up until resolved.
• Ensure all required testing is completed and documented.
• Follow installation milestones and support project activities as directed by management.
• Work overtime, travel, and handle on-call or after-hours responsibilities as needed, in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
