Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interpret AWS, ASME and NBIC codes for field applications.
• Read blueprints and welding procedures to guide field work.
• Inspect boilers, pressure vessels, power piping and structural steel.
• Administer weld tests and update welder qualification records.
• Coordinate outage inspections with union crafts and plant personnel.
• Maintain traceability of welding during plant outages and document work for turnover.
