Job summary

John Burns is seeking a Quality Control professional to support field-based operations and create project-specific QC plans. You will work with the Quality Manager, project teams, and customers to ensure compliance with local and federal QC requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years relevant experience required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Travel within area or region served

Responsibilities

• Builds social capital and trust with JBCC’s Quality Manager, field-based employees, project team, and customers
• Review contracts, blueprints, local and federal QC requirements
• Create project-based quality control plans
• Review QC plans with project managers
• Implement QC plans
• Schedule testing and inspections based on operations and customer requirements
• Perform routine field inspections and testing with documented reporting using auditing tools
• Inspect subcontractor and supplier processes and materials
• Provide prompt reports of inspections
• Provide trends and analytics of inspection/testing reports
• Attend internal and job-specific audits as needed
• Assist Quality Manager on QA tasks including internal and external processes and auditing
• Provide feedback for improvements to the Quality Management System
• Attend customer and internal meetings as required
• Build project team and customer relationships
• Provide lessons learned reporting at closeout meetings
• Adhere to safety requirements during work
