FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in West Des Moines, IA seeks a Quality Control Supervisor to lead training and quality assurance across field operations. The role centers on developing improvements, documenting issues, and coaching staff for better field performance.

You will design engaging training materials, deliver sessions in person and virtually, mentor trainees, and coordinate schedules with management while traveling up to 25% to support regional quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years fiber optic or cable installation experience.
• Mandatory job site inspections to ensure safety policies are followed.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Flexible schedule is needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Train and ensure quality of all employees within assigned systems.
• Perform quality control inspections and document, correct, and coach issues.
• Deliver engaging, high-quality training to in-person and virtual audiences.
• Mentor and support trainees for consistent delivery and development.
• Design, develop, and deliver training materials using PowerPoint and Word.
• Evaluate trainee performance via observations and identify skill gaps.
• Coordinate training schedules with leadership and local management.
• Serve as a technical training resource and field support during high-demand periods.
• Contribute to root-cause analyses and prevention strategies.
• Stay current on training methodologies and best practices.
• Travel up to 25% to support regional quality initiatives.
