Job summary

Raining Rose in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a QA Supervisor to direct daily activities in the Quality department, overseeing testing, release of products, and management of Quality Technicians. The role requires ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and customer requirements while maintaining quality standards.

The ideal candidate will lead by example, enforce GMPs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of management and/or leadership experience.
• Minimum 4+ years in a relatable field.
• Experience with internal audits.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates activities in the Quality department related to testing and releasing quality products and raw materials.
• Supervise Quality technicians including scheduling, development, discipline, and hiring.
• Ensure compliance with FDA CFR and other regulatory requirements for OTC drugs, cosmetics, organic certifications, and customer requirements.
• Approve or reject procedures and specifications impacting product identity, strength, quality, and purity.
• Maintain KPI data and report monthly; collaborate with other departments to improve product quality.
