Job summary

Feed Energy Company in Des Moines, IA, seeks a Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager to lead the Quality & Food Safety Management System across all plants. As PCQI and Advanced HACCP-certified leader, you will drive a culture of quality and safety, and serve as the liaison for audits.

You will develop and implement QFSMS, conduct internal and external audits, train teams, analyze data, and partner with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Lab to improve product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3–5 years QA/food safety experience; multi-site or corporate QA a plus.
• Experience managing FSMS/QA programs and audits.
• Strong knowledge of FDA/USDA/OSHA/EPA and cGMP.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA and food safety management across all plants.
• Coordinate internal audits and drive corrective actions.
• Manage external audits and act as primary contact for inspectors.
• Develop and deliver QA training and SOPs.
• Analyze data, report trends, and set improvement targets.
