Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Field Quality Control Manager in Haskell, TX to lead on-site quality inspections for a major industrial construction project. The role focuses on coordinating with field teams, reviewing workmanship, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Candidates with 3+ years in quality control on structural steel and a strong ability to read blueprints will excel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality control or inspection experience in construction environments.
• Experience with structural steel construction projects.
• CWI highly preferred; otherwise 5+ years of QC experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site quality control and inspection activities.
• Review construction work and materials for specification compliance.
• Develop and implement site-specific quality control plans.
• Maintain inspection reports, RFIs, and non-conformance records.
• Coordinate with project teams and contractors to resolve quality issues.
• Promote safety and quality culture on site.
