Job summary

Bulldog Roofing is seeking a dependable Quality Control Technician to inspect roofing and exterior projects, document workmanship, and coordinate corrections before closeout. You will work closely with Production Managers, field crews, and customers to protect quality and reduce callbacks.

The ideal candidate has ladder and roof experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with homeowners. Outdoor work in varying weather is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Comfort working on ladders and roofs at active construction sites.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic smartphone and photo documentation, plus CRM proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily inspection route.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform final quality inspections on roofing and exterior projects.
• Inspect workmanship, flashing, ventilation, gutters, siding, and details.
• Compare work to scope, requirements, and building codes.
• Create punch lists and communicate corrections to Production.
• Document inspections with notes and photos in the CRM.
• Ensure site cleanliness and proper material removal before closeout.
• Coordinate follow-up visits for additional corrections.
• Provide homeowner communications on inspections and outcomes.
• Offer feedback to leadership to improve crews.
