Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on roofing experience (installation, repair, or inspection).
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems including shingles, flat roofs, flashing, and underlayment.
• Familiarity with local building codes and roofing industry standards.
• Ability to safely navigate rooftops and work at heights.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent observation and documentation skills.
• Effective communication skills to relay findings clearly to field and office teams.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough quality control inspections on residential and/or commercial roofing installations and repairs
• Identify and document deficiencies, code violations, and workmanship issues on job sites
• Communicate inspection findings and corrective actions to crew leads and project managers
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards
• Perform pre- and post-installation inspections including flashing, underlayment, and shingle/material placement
• Maintain accurate inspection reports, photo documentation, and quality control logs
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying recurring issues and recommending solutions
