Job summary

Performance Systems Development is seeking a Technical Specialist to join the Program Delivery Team in Seattle. The role conducts QA inspections on new homes and coordinates with trade allies to schedule weekly inspections, reporting progress and issues along the way.

You will provide technical assistance to HERS Raters, builders, and stakeholders, verify submittals align with policies, and review energy savings calculations while maintaining program records.

Qualifications

• Six months minimum hands-on field experience in energy auditing, construction, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of energy efficiency concepts in new construction.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QA inspections on new homes, collecting blower door, duct, health and safety data.
• Coordinate weekly inspection schedules with program trade allies.
• Report inspection progress and issues.
• Provide technical support to HERS Raters, home builders, and other stakeholders.
• Verify project submittals comply with program policies and procedures.
• Review energy savings calculations and manage project records in the program database.
