Job summary

Performance Systems Development is seeking a Technical Specialist to join the Program Delivery Team in the greater Seattle, WA area. This field-based, customer-facing role ensures program integrity and client satisfaction through QA inspections and data reporting.

You will coordinate weekly schedules, support HERS Raters and builders, and verify submittals align with policies while reviewing energy savings calculations and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Passion for energy efficiency and sustainability in new construction.
• Minimum 6 months hands-on field experience in energy auditing, construction, or a related field.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Data collection, reporting and program compliance experience.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and traveling within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QA inspections on new homes including blower door and duct testing.
• Coordinate inspection schedules with program trade allies.
• Report inspection progress and issues encountered.
• Provide technical assistance to HERS Raters, home builders, and stakeholders.
• Verify project submittals comply with program policies.
• Review energy savings calculations and manage records.
