IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a QA/QC Inspector Level 1 in Pecos, Texas. The role focuses on photographing equipment on delivery, inspecting after setup, and documenting discrepancies to support project quality records.

The candidate will verify tags, maintain logs, and assist QA/QC teams with asset custody, turnover docs, and walkthroughs, ensuring compliance with project drawings and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of industrial or commercial electrical construction experience.
• Working knowledge of construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Bluebeam and other construction software.
• Strong organizational, communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in active construction environments and maintain attention to detail.
• Pass pre-employment background check and MVR when operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Photograph and document equipment on delivery using CXA platform.
• Perform follow-up inspections and documentation after equipment is set up and unwrapped.
• Identify, document and report shipping or handling damage.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and inspection logs.
• Verify equipment and manufacturer tags are present.
