Matrix Service Company is seeking a QA/QC Electrical Inspector to assess electrical work per Codes and project specs on the job site in Washington. You will accept or reject work in accordance with the Project Quality Plan and client requirements.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and timely quality reporting, with daily surveillance and weekly status updates. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential to support cross-functional teams and field activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in quality or electrical inspection under a formal Quality Management System.
• Electrical experience preferred (3 years).
• ACI certification preferred; other discipline-specific inspection credentials may be considered.
• Familiar with ASME Sec. VIII, Sec. IX, B31.1, B31.3, API 650/653, 1104 Codes.
• Strong written and oral communication; proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support safety and core values in all activities.
• Review project specs and procedures for compliance with client requirements.
• Perform quality audits and verify activities against the Project Quality Plan.
• Witness inspections and hold points per IT Plans.
• Report non-conformities and track corrective actions.
• Monitor cable routing, installation, and terminations per codes.
• Provide technical input in project meetings and escalate issues.
