Job summary

ECM Consultants seeks a full-time Certified Construction Inspector in Shreveport, LA to conduct daily inspections for compliance with plans and specifications and document observations. The role supports public safety and quality assurance on site.

Responsibilities include daily reporting, maintaining as-built records, and effective communication with clients and the public, with a schedule of 8–10 hours per day, Monday through Friday, and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7–10 years of construction and/or inspection experience or related education with inspection background.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Current OSHA safety training.
• LADOTD certifications in Asphalt Paving, Structural Concrete, PCC Paving, Embankment & Base.
• Current Structural Concrete Certification, PCC Paving.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections for compliance with plans and specifications and document observations.
• Maintain daily inspection reports, photo records, and time-and-material reports.
• Coordinate routing and schedule to maximize efficiency; communicate with the public professionally.
• Adhere to safety procedures and wear required PPE; observe traffic-control requirements.
