Job summary

Alignment Health seeks a Provider Engagement Specialist - Field who must reside in El Paso, TX. The role focuses on building and sustaining provider relationships to enhance network performance, satisfaction, and organizational growth.

It is a field position with travel and remote work considered on approval. You will onboard providers, educate on Alignment tools and programs, support credentialing and contracts, and track engagement outcomes with regular reporting.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in provider relations/contracting with an HMO or IPA, medical group or institutional provider preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with providers and their staff to support growth, retention, and performance improvement.
• Partner with providers to improve performance on KPIs including growth, retention, AWVs, HEDIS gap closures, hospital and ER utilization, risk adjustment and other quality metrics.
• Onboard providers and provide ongoing education on Alignment tools, clinical programs, PCP incentives, Member benefits, Model of Care and compliance requirements.
• Create provider in-service and implementation packets; develop training materials/tools.
• Serve as single point of contact for provider issues (UM, prior authorization, claims, encounter data, eligibility, rosters, directory validation).
• Represent Alignment Health at provider meetings and events; document minutes and actions.
• Maintain databases and tracking tools to document provider engagement and outcomes.
• Negotiate and implement provider agreements; credentialing; use network database for recruitment activity.
• Maintain weekly activity summaries and reports.
