Job summary

Tenavi Staffing is seeking a Provider Engagement Specialist (Field-Based) to build strong provider relationships, educate on quality measures, and support contracting within the assigned market. The role involves onboarding, training, and ongoing engagement with providers to improve HEDIS and Stars metrics.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year in provider relations or network management, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to travel up to 80% in the field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of provider relations, contracting, or network management experience in a healthcare setting
• Preferred: 2+ years provider-facing experience, including Medicare lines of business
• Strong understanding of HEDIS, Stars, Risk Adjustment, and MLR
• High School Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• MBA preferred

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with providers and office staff to support network growth and performance
• Conduct provider onboarding, orientations, and ongoing education initiatives
• Perform in-person provider visits to review performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities
• Analyze provider performance data and deliver actionable insights to optimize outcomes
• Educate providers on HEDIS, Stars, Risk Adjustment, and documentation requirements
• Develop provider engagement strategies to improve quality scores and member experience
• Negotiate and implement provider agreements in assigned markets
• Maintain provider data in Salesforce and internal systems
• Travel up to 80% within the market; remote work with approval
