Job summary

Ohio Mutual Insurance Group is seeking a Field Property Claim Representative in Fairfield County to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve property claims for members and customers. You will work both in the field and virtually, ensuring fair claim resolutions in line with state requirements.

The role requires strong math and communication skills, experience with claim estimation, and the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and customer interactions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Three (3) years of property claims and estimating experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws that affect claims.
• Experience with insurance terminology.
• Valid and active Ohio Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Investigates property claims and documents findings.
• Determines and negotiates settlements per policy terms.
• Maintains claim diaries and monitors loss reserves.
• Communicates with customers, agents, and vendors.
• Coordinates onsite inspections and uses technology to assess loss.
