Job summary

Integrated Machinery Solutions seeks a Property Field Adjuster in Bakersfield, CA for a part-time W-2 role. You will investigate daily property claims, determine damage, and apply appropriate claims practices in line with company and carrier guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid adjuster license for the state(s) handled.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to insured locations.
• 2–3 years of property claims adjusting experience required.
• Experience preparing estimates using Symbility; Xactimate experience preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance policies, theories, practices, and claims-handling procedures.
• General understanding of construction concepts strongly preferred.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, access attics and crawlspaces, inspect roofs.
• Must complete continuing education requirements to maintain licensing.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to work within client guidelines regarding service timelines and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged property and determine claim-related damage.
• Make decisions within delegated authority per policies.
• Understand coverage and apply claims practices per guidelines.
• Set reserves according to carrier guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and carrier guidelines.
• Stay current on local repair procedures and market pricing.
• Submit incident and ITV reports to claims management as needed.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to all clients and insured parties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
