Liberty Mutual Group is seeking a Field Property Claims Adjuster in Austin, TX. You’ll assess damage on-site, estimate repairs, and guide policyholders through the claims process, traveling locally within Austin and surrounding areas.

The role offers a 5‑month training program, mileage reimbursement, potential company vehicle after meeting mileage requirements, and a sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus 1 year in related field is expected.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of claims handling procedures and operations.
• Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Effective negotiation skills.
• Ability to independently manage workload with good judgment.
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of building construction principles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least 1 year of related experience.

Responsabilités

• Investigate on-site to resolve complex coverage and damage issues and prepare complete repair estimates.
• Handle moderate to complex claims independently from first notice of loss to final closure.
• Work in the field daily, traveling to insured homes within the local territory.
• Explain coverage, assist policyholders with itemization of damages, emergency repairs and accommodations.
• Coordinate with vendors such as contractors and repair services.
• Occasional catastrophe duty may be required.
