Job summary

Forged Fiber 37 Services, LLC is seeking a Field Support Administrator to plan, coordinate, and support OSP fiber deployment projects nationwide with a focus on restoration, maintenance, and timely delivery. You will partner with Field Operations, Engineering, contractors, and project managers to ensure quality and compliance in the field.

Based in Des Moines/West Des Moines area, the role requires 4+ years in OSP/ISP construction, strong organizational skills, and the ability to travel 30–40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years in OSP/ISP construction, engineering support, or project coordination.
• Experience with fiber deployments (FTTx, GPON) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of underground, buried, and aerial fiber construction; engineering prints, schematics, and specifications.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Field Operations and contractors to plan, execute, and restore projects.
• Manage multiple projects from initiation through invoicing and completion.
• Ensure activities align with timelines, scope, and company standards.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify work.
• Review engineering prints, standards documentation, and installation procedures.
• Provide field feedback to improve design and constructability.
• Approve contractor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with USDA RUS standards and ForgedFiber37 requirements.
• Travel coordination and vendor performance oversight.
