Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is actively seeking a Superintendent 1 in Tempe, Arizona. The Superintendent will plan, manage, and execute all aspects of assigned projects, overseeing staff and subcontractors, and ensuring safety and quality compliance.

The ideal candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in construction management. A minimum of 3 years of construction experience and 1 year of field supervision is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years construction experience.
• 1+ years field supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee company staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs.
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Communicate key project information to owners and subcontractors.

Skills

Communication skills, verbal and written (Intermediate)

Proficiency in MS Office (Intermediate)

Ability to perform work accurately and completely

Ability to manage budgets and maximize profitability

Proficiency in scheduling software

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred)
