Job summary

ComNet Communications, LLC is seeking a field-oriented projects coordinator to manage material and labor support, track costs, and ensure schedules are met on telecom projects. You will collaborate with Project Manager - Office and Estimator, coordinate staffing and subcontractors, and deliver closeout documentation including drawings and warranties.

This role requires 3+ years in telecommunications, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and leadership skills; on-site work in Texas

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Ability to read, analyze and decipher scopes of work.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, punch down, shears and crimp tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Skill in directing the implementation of telecommunication projects.
• Ability to lead people and obtain results through others.
• Ability to train and direct others.
• Ability to work effectively with co-workers and customers.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing and necessary tools for projects.
• Order materials in a timely manner for each project.
• Track labor and material cost; approve invoices and timesheets; invoice promptly.
• Direct field personnel using daily job journals and records.
• Install, troubleshoot, and provide technical assistance as needed.
• Generate change order pricing for items outside the original scope.
• Attend meetings and site surveys as required.
• Conduct on-site inspections at project start, mid-point and completion.
• Provide closeout docs including as-built drawings, certifications, and warranties.
• Develop new subcontractor relationships; maintain existing ones.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
