Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to support field Steel Structures on the east coast utilities sector, coordinating with internal teams and customers to meet the contracted scope.

The role involves guiding project objectives, scheduling, budgeting, and performance tracking, with travel up to 50% and emphasis on collaboration with operations, engineering, and business development to ensure successful delivery. Strong communication and cost control are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• 3-7 years of proven project management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• PMP/PMI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contracted work scope specifications.
• Track, manage and resolve project issues as they arise throughout the project life cycle.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers and clients.
• Formulate reports by extracting required data from various sources concerning such areas as work progress, costs and scheduling, for internal and external distribution.
• Implement and adhere to the project management process and methodology.
• Work with contract administrators to manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the customer.
• Represent company in customer facing project meetings and attend strategy meetings.
• Track and reconcile revenue, cost of goods, accruals, and customer invoices using principles of cost accounting.
