Responsibilities

  • Implement and adhere to the project management process and methodology.
  • Work with contract administrators to manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the customer.
  • Represent company in customer facing project meetings and attend strategy meetings.
  • Track and reconcile revenue, cost of goods, accruals, and customer invoices using principles of cost accounting.

Overview

Osmose is looking to hire a Sr. Project Manager in the Western, U.S. region who will plan, direct, coordinate, and budget activities concerned with the utility services provided by Osmose. They will participate in the conceptual development of a project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation. Their goal is to accomplish project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities. Expectations are to work directly with the internal Osmose operations, delivery, engineering, business development, management teams, and the customer to ensure the project objectives are aligned and with the contracted scope of work. Expectations also include representing Osmose in project meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contracted work scope specifications.
  • Track, manage and resolve project issues as they arise throughout the project life cycle
  • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers and clients.
  • Formulate reports by extracting required data from various sources concerning such areas as work progress, costs and scheduling, for internal and external distribution.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical degree preferred (computer science, mathematics, statistics, business or other mathematical field plus
  • 3-7 years of proven Project Management experience.
  • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong presentation skills.
Preferred
  • Utility or utility services industry management preferred.
  • PMP/PMI certification.
