Job summary

Thompson Creek Window Company is seeking an In-Home Project Manager to lead residential installation projects from pre-construction through final sign-off. This 100% field-based role involves site evaluations, coordinating with installation crews, and ensuring quality, schedule, and cost targets are met in Upper Marlboro, MD.

You will review contracts, supervise materials, and maintain proactive homeowner communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience in residential construction or field-based project management.
• Ability to read contracts and installation specifications.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.
• LSWP certification or ability to obtain before starting independent field work.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from start to finish, managing a portfolio of residential installations with quality, timing, and cost accountability.
• Conduct pre-construction site evaluations and measurements to readiness for installation.
• Review contracts and scope to ensure correct products and materials are ordered.
• Keep projects on schedule by coordinating timelines with customers, crews, and internal teams.
• Identify and solve field challenges, escalating when appropriate.
• Resolve roadblocks with cross-functional teams including Sales and Procurement.
• Monitor costs and profitability to meet margins and delivery targets.
• Serve as the customer's primary point of contact with clear, professional communication.
• Maintain accurate project documentation in company systems.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met on site.
• Maintain the company vehicle and related equipment.
