Job summary

Trueline, a growing luxury custom home builder and artisan millwork company, is seeking a Field Project Manager to lead on-site execution of luxury custom homes and major renovations in Southwest Michigan's Lake Michigan corridor.

This field-driven role focuses on field leadership, client relations, subcontractor coordination, and precise documentation, with 90% time in the field and close collaboration with in-office estimators and the company leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in residential construction
• 5+ years in field leadership (PM/Superintendent)
• Experience with high-end custom homes or renovations
• Ability to manage subcontractors, crews, schedules, materials
• Strong understanding of residential scopes and quality standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients
• Proven daily reporting, scheduling, and documentation discipline
• Ability to work onsite across Southwest Michigan/Lake Michigan corridor

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day execution of luxury custom homes and renovations from the field
• Spend 90% time on active jobsites, inspect work, identify issues early
• Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, materials, logistics
• Oversee one major home and one or two smaller renovations
• Review plans with subs to prevent issues
• Inspect quality and adherence to plans
• Maintain clear client communication via calls, texts, emails
• Present company professionally to discerning clients
• Complete accurate daily reports and project docs
• Communicate field conditions and changes to estimating team
• Coordinate with in-office Estimator for change orders and admin
• Anticipate scheduling and constructability issues to avoid delays
• Hold subs accountable for workmanship and standards
• Use mobile tech effectively while in the field
• Contribute to exceptional client experiences through responsiveness and detail
