Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Field Project Manager with a strong structural steel erection background to take ownership of major field projects across the United States. You will lead delivery, budgets, schedules, crane and rigging planning, and coordinate field crews and subcontractors.

This role requires hands-on management in large-scale construction, close collaboration with the project team, and a readiness to learn the business from the home office before stepping into

Qualifications

• Experience in structural steel erection in the field.
• Proven ability to manage field projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and safety/quality oversight for large-scale builds.

Responsibilities

• Own project delivery, budgets, and schedules across major projects.
• Lead crane and rigging planning and coordinate field crews and subcontractors.
• Ensure safety and quality across the project and team, interfacing with the home office.

A growing U.S. contractor is looking for an experienced Field Project Manager with a strong structural steel erection background to take ownership of major projects across the country.

You'll be working across projects involving:

• Manufacturing
• Power
• Infrastructure

We're specifically looking for someone who understands structural steel in the field - not simply a general construction PM.

You'll take ownership of project delivery, budgets, schedules, crane and rigging planning, field crews, subcontractors, safety and quality, while working closely with the wider project team.

The role also offers the opportunity to learn the business from the home office before taking on increasing responsibility in the field.
