Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. is working with an established structural steel fabricator to add a Project Manager in Atlanta.

The role focuses on ownership of structural steel projects from contract handoff through delivery, keeping costs, schedules and quality on track. You will coordinate customers, general contractors, detailers, vendors and erectors; manage contracts, POs, RFIs and changes; coordinate schedules, fabrication and deliveries; prepare monthly cost projections and support pay

Qualifications

• Experience managing structural steel projects.
• 5–7 years PM experience, with developing PMs considered.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, MS Project, Excel and Word.
• An associate degree or extensive relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Looking for ownership of structural steel projects and room to take on larger assignments?

I'm working with an established structural steel fabricator adding a Project Manager to its Atlanta team to support a substantial project backlog.

The Role

Manage structural steel projects from contract handoff through delivery, keeping costs, schedules and quality on track.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating customers, general contractors, detailers, vendors and erectors
• Managing contracts, purchase orders, RFIs and changes
• Coordinating project schedules, fabrication and deliveries
• Preparing monthly cost projections and supporting pay applications
• Leading job meetings and visiting sites as required

What We're Looking For

• Structural steel project experience
• Ideally 5-7 years of project management experience, with developing PMs also considered
• Confidence reading construction drawings
• Strong organisation, communication and project ownership
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel and Word
• An associate degree or extensive relevant experience
