Job summary

MWH is seeking a Project Engineer to provide field support for the Bull Run Pipelines Project located in Gresham, Oregon. This role focuses on subcontractor management, site coordination, documentation, and project controls to ensure safety and quality.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team on heavy civil construction, interfacing with engineering, procurement, and field staff. A bachelor's degree in CM/ Civil/ Electrical or Mechanical engineering and 2–3 years of field experience are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Civil/Electrical/Mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years’ field construction experience at jobsite.
• Experience on large heavy civil construction projects.
• Familiarity with PM databases like Primavera/Expedition/SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist with subcontractor procurement and management, package development, construction layout, material and equipment procurement, submittal review, manpower scheduling, quantity takeoffs, labor productivity reporting, document controls, material purchases, deliveries and inventory, and project controls.
• Perform ongoing quality inspections ensuring compliance with permits, codes, drawings, and specs.
• Prepare documentation records, status reports, sketches, and calculations for supervisor.
• Prepare drawings and sketches for construction work, changes, estimates, and methods.
• Submit work method statements and obtain required permits prior to work.
• Review correspondence, minutes, pay applications, schedules, RFIs and progress reports.
