Job summary

Ellipsis Construction LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to support fast-paced commercial TI projects in the Denver area. You will learn directly from the Superintendent on-site, assisting with coordination, documentation, and daily execution.

Qualifications

0–2 years of experience in commercial construction or internships/co-ops
Ability to read plans, specs and scopes of work; quick learner
Strong organization and follow-through with multiple priorities
Customer service mindset: responsive, professional, and clear communicator
Capable of working both in an office and on active job sites
Familiarity with common construction tools and document control systems

Responsibilities

Learn field operations with the Superintendent, focusing on sequencing, logistics, coordination, and quality control
Support daily field needs: deliveries, vendor coordination, schedule look-aheads, issue tracking
Assist with project documentation: RFIs, submittals, meeting notes, logs, punch lists
Help ensure drawings/specs alignment and rapid issue resolution
Support project closeout: turnover docs, warranties, and O&M files
Assist with bids and business development activities as needed
Help implement operational improvements and standards across projects
