Job summary

NOOTER is seeking a Field Project Engineer to provide technical and project coordination support for industrial construction projects across field and office settings.

You will review engineering drawings, specs, submittals, and project documentation while coordinating with project managers, field supervision, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to keep work on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering/construction management.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it.
• Valid driver's license and clean record.
• 1–5 years in construction, engineering, or project support.
• Experience with scheduling, cost control, budgeting or forecasting.
• Familiarity with drawings, specs, and field operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and PM/scheduling tools.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and docs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Support industrial construction projects from office and field.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, and doc management.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervision, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Maintain project records and track materials/procurement.
• Support scheduling, cost control, and reporting functions.
• Assist with safety, quality initiatives, and change management.
• Resolve technical questions and communicate progress to stakeholders.
