Job summary

Tutor Perini Building Corp. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our project near Porterville, CA. The role involves monitoring construction activities, ensuring on-schedule progress, and verifying contract specifications are followed.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will inspect sites daily, interpret drawings, prepare field design changes, and document punch lists and as-built drawings using CAD, MS Office, and Prolog-like tools to coordinate with contractors and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 1+ years of construction experience.
• Proficient with MS Office and project software such as Prolog or similar

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction site daily and work with contractors to schedule deliveries.
• Interpret designs and drawings for crafts installing materials.
• Prepare field design change requisitions and as-built drawings.
• Verify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings and specifications.
• Attend meetings with other contractors, clients, or A/E representatives to coordinate design and construction efforts
