Job summary
Brice Construction & Design thrives on challenging earthwork, civil construction, and marine projects in Houston, TX. The Project Engineer will plan and coordinate construction and administrative activities, ensuring compliance with plans, specs, schedules, codes and permits.
You will enter data into Excel/HCSS and support design-build packages, with significant site travel. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 2–3 years of civil project
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required.
- Two–three years of civil project engineering experience required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Driving Policy requirements.
- Ability to pass drug, driving, and background screening.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate activities of construction and administrative management.
- Ensure project plans, specs, schedules, codes, and permits are followed.
- Enter information into Excel/HCSS and other construction data systems.
- Coordinate with project managers and field staff to meet objectives.
- Travel to project sites up to 70–90% for extended periods.
