Job summary

Hydaker-Wheatlake Company is seeking a Project Coordinator to support field documentation, project coordination, and site restoration activities in Grimes, IA. The role involves organizing records, coordinating with field teams, and ensuring timely completion of restoration tasks.

You will document pre-construction conditions, upload materials to Basecamp and Teams, and assist with general field and office logistics year-round.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with multiple teams.
Experience with Basecamp, Microsoft Teams, and general office software preferred.
Comfortable working in outdoor conditions year-round.
Knowledge of utility industry best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Conduct pre-construction (pre-flight) video and photo documentation of job sites, noting existing property conditions and locate markings.
Upload media and notes to Basecamp and maintain organized project records.
Track restoration progress across active projects; coordinate with field teams to verify completion.
Take final (post-flight) videos and pictures upon project completion.
Arrange restoration work when needed or maintain a running list of pending restorations to monitor.
