Job summary

Sesco Lighting Inc. is seeking an on-site technical resource to support the local Jacksonville branch, customers, and factories. You will troubleshoot field issues, conduct factory start-ups, perform control programming, and manage material flow.

The role requires 2-3 years of electrical/low voltage experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel extensively. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience on electrical or low voltage systems.

Responsible as a technical resource for the local branch, customers and factories; trouble shooting problems in the field while providing services such as: factory start-ups, trouble shooting, material management, and pre-install services.

• Identify solutions on-site technical design problems involving electrical systems equipment
• Provides problem investigation and analysis in thefield
• Makes or directs installation corrections to solveproblems

• Other duties as assigned by manager
• 2-3 years’ experience on electrical or low voltage system
• Knowledge of line and low voltage system and logicprogramming
• Basic understanding of electrical powersystems
• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches toproblems
• Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem solving and decisionmaking
• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal andwritten
• Must have the ability to multi-task and make decisionsquickly
• Must be able to travelextensively
