Job summary

Elevance Health, Inc. in Western North Carolina is seeking a Manager I GBD Special Programs to supervise a team overseeing a comprehensive health care program including LTSS, foster care, IDD, HIV/AIDS, and other special products.

The role focuses on coordinating care, staff performance, and complex-case escalation to deliver high-quality outcomes for members. The position is field-based with hybrid/office requirements and a policy that may restrict certain candidates based on commuting

Qualifications

• BA/BS required with minimum 5 years in related field.
• At least 1 year of leadership/management experience.
• Experience coordinating complex programs in managed care or health services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resource utilization to ensure appropriate care delivery.
• Coordinate service delivery including member assessment of physical and psychological factors.
• Participate in cross-functional workgroups to maintain and develop programs.
• Evaluate processes of Special Program support functions and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Develop and deliver training programs for staff involved in the program.
• Extract and analyze data to present findings to markets and stakeholders.
