Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a mid‑level procurement professional for a Millersport, OH project. You will form and administer purchase orders, define supplier requirements, and ensure performance to PO terms on a large, multi‑location project across the USA.

You will prepare bidder lists, solicit bids, analyze responses, and issue recommendations to award, while coordinating with Engineering and other Bechtel teams to maintain schedule and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 2–5 years procurement experience, or 6–9 years with equivalent work history.
• Experience preparing bidder lists, bid solicitations, bid analysis, and award recommendations.
• Strong communication with suppliers and internal teams to ensure PO terms are met.

Responsibilities

• Prepares bidders' lists and qualifies bidders.
• Communicates with Engineering to assist and guide material requisitions.
• Forms bid packages and issues bid requests; coordinates bidders' questions.
• Prepares Commercial Bid Summary and recommendation letter.
• Communicates with suppliers to define requirements and ensure PO performance.
• Initiates and processes PO revisions for changes in scope or cost.
