Job summary

Bechtel is managing procurement for Intel Fab 62 on the Chandler, AZ site, delivering engineering, procurement, and construction scope for a leading-edge chip facility. The M&T team ensures precise, clean execution and aligns with global policies to meet project requirements and timelines.

The role emphasizes leadership of Field Procurement staff, coordination across purchasing, expediting, logistics, and materials management, and ongoing site visits to validate performance and staffing adequacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) with extensive relevant experience.
• Experience with Field Procurement operations at temporary operating/jobsite locations, including Purchasing, Inspection, Expediting, Traffic & Logistics, and field materials management.
• Proven ability to supervise personnel and manage career development discussions and training.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement operations at the project jobsite ensuring compliance with corporate, global business unit, and project policies.
• Oversee field purchasing, expediting, traffic and logistics, and field materials management.
• Plan staffing and salary structures for Field Procurement personnel and coordinate staffing.
• Visit the project site to validate staffing needs and ensure performance.
