Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a senior Engineering Lead to guide the engineering scope for Fab 62 at the Intel Ocotillo campus in Chandler, AZ. You will interpret, organize, and coordinate engineering activities across teams to meet schedule, budget, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Technical knowledge of engineering systems, calculations, construction methods, and engineering computer applications.
Proficient knowledge of planning, and coordination of CAD design processes (2D/3D).
Licensed PE or RA is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervises the engineering activity on a medium-size project.
Manages complex interactions across Bechtel entities and client relationships.
Develops detailed project execution plan and engineering budget and schedule.
Owns engineering elements of project capital estimates and requirements.
Ensures compliance with procedures, design guides, and QA plans.
Coordinates engineering with PM, Procurement, Construction, ES&H, and Project Controls.
Directs engineering activities in project proposals, staffing estimates, and schedules.
